"Gentle Giant"

 This mare caught my eye as she came cantering towards me.  The Maui sunshine was glittering across the hills, she was a beautiful bay colour with a gentle demeanour, a subject worthy of painting! I decided to scale her up in size, using the golden Hawaiian light as an accent for the backdrop of the painting. This modern equestrian painting will be a gentle reminder daily, of the peace and beauty horses and humans respond to.
